This perhaps might be related to a use of rhyme corresponding with one meaning of the German word sich reimen, which is not listed on Wiktionary, but means to correspond/agree or be fitting to something, like jive/jibe. Was rhyme/rime ever used in this way in English or other languages besides German? 66.112.113.221 15:39, 17 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
